When the first star appears
And everything starts fading away
When darkness creeps upon them
And long-awaited silence comes their way
Only now, can they breath
Only now, they feel almost free
Silence is too loud for them
And the darkness it too bright
The cold of the night keeps them warm
If only there was no light
Only now, can they breath
Only now, they feel almost free
But their dreams won’t last long
And the day will bring them pain
It fills them with fear
But freedom is what they adhere
Constrained by fetters
It fills them with fear
But there is no escape
Surrounded by millions of elements
The only thing they feel is hopelessness and emptiness
No hope, no joy, just a wish for yet another dream
Silence is too loud for them
And the darkness is too bright
The cold of the night
Keeps them warm
If only there was no light
A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan
Will admit found the dissonance initially off putting, but by the end of the first song caught the groove and loved every second! It's almost like a lost Pestilence album. Full on reccommend! warchrist30
